IT Strategy

Acism consults organizations to create their IT Strategy. The IT Strategy takes a wholistic perspective to evolve the hardware, software and training requirements for the benefit of the organization. It focuses on how technology should be utilized as a part of an organization's overall corporate strategy and each business strategy. A good IT strategy creates and measures value from the business investment in IT, and not the other way where one can start with IT and then figure out how to deliver business value (Chris Potts, FrulTion). Typically the IT strategy document is evolved through the interaction of seasoned IT experts with the top management and the staff of the organization.

The exercise explores:

  • Current IT readiness of the organization

  • Areas where IT can help the organization, to reduce costs and/or increase profits

  • Plan of IT implementation over time

  • Estimated budget, timelines and ROI

Once the IT Strategy is defined, Acism offers its help in implementation to realize the outlined benefits, along closely monitored milestones.
